Feast Day – For Schools

2024 Feast Day Banner

Celebrate the Feast Day of Australia’s most loved Saint with your school

Every August, schools are invited to hold fundraising activities in celebration of Saint Mary MacKillop’s Feast Day on 8 August. Join us and help provide education to children in Timor-Leste.

Mary knew the power of education to lift communities out of poverty. This is why Mary MacKillop Today is inviting teachers, students, and families to celebrate Mary’s Feast Day with us!

Your school’s fundraising throughout August will support our Mobile Learning Centre in Timor-Leste that provides children in remote areas with much-needed access to creative and fun learning activities and story books in their local language.

This August, let’s walk in Mary’s footsteps. Like Mary, let’s be fierce in the face of adversity. Let’s be fair and act when we see injustice. Let’s give love to those we encounter each day. Together, let’s be Fierce for Fair!
